Jessica 1.9
"Jessica?" Mariah asked when she answered her phone. "Why'd you lie to me about my father, why'd you say that he was alive when he actually died when I was born?" Jessica asked, "You misunderstood me, the man I told you about, isn't your father, he was a father figure to you." Mariah replied, "How could he be a father figure to me, if I was adopted when I was born," Jessica asked, "Alright, I lied, he wasn't a father figure to you, he didn't even know you, I just told you that he was your father, because to be, honest I don't know anything about your father, he disappeared, he left us, I know his name, but that's all," Mariah replied, "Why didn't you just give me his name in the first place, why'd you give me a name of some other guy?" Jessica asked, "Look, Jessica I don't think it's a good idea that you go and talk to your biological father, you see, he's married now and he's got a life of his own now." Mariah replied, "I don't care, I want to see my biological father, does he even know about me, does he have an idea that I even exist?" Jessica asked, "That's another reason, why I don't think that you should go see him, he doesn't know about you, he had no idea that I was pregnant, when he left." Mariah replied, "Well, in that case, he and his family are going to be in for a surprise, when I show up at their front door, now what's his name, his full name?" Jessica asked, "No, I'm not going to tell you his name, he doesn't care about you, he's got a family of his own now, you should keep your focus on your adoptive family, they're the ones who've taken care of you for the past fifteen years." Mariah replied, "I want to see my father, I deserve to see my father." Jessica insisted, "Fine, your not going to let this go, are you?" Mariah asked, "No, I'm not going to let it go." Jessica replied, "His name is Roger Stevens." Mariah replied.

Jessica 1.8
Both Jacob and Cassandra were sitting in the living room, Jacob was sitting on the red sofa, watching the news, while Cassandra was sitting in her favorite overstuffed white and pink striped chair, reading a book, when Jessica, came downstairs, dressed, in a pair of jeans, a baby blue blouse, her
hair was pulled up into a ponytail, "Mom, Dad, there's something that I need to tell you, I've emailed my birth father, and my birth father, has emailed me back, and we decided that we should meet, he wants to introduce me to his family, he has a wife and daughter. Both, Cassandra and Jacob immediately stopped what they were doing and focused their attention towards Jessica. "Jessica, according to your mother, your father passed away, when you were born, whoever you think that person is, that you found on the internet, and whose claiming to be your father, is lying to you." Jacob warned, "No, I asked my mom, and she gave me this man's name." Jessica replied she refused to believe that her birth mother would come back into her life, only to tell her a lie about her birth father. "Jessica, I'm sorry, but your father, is right, your birth father, didn't abandon you and your mother, your birth father died." Cassandra replied, "But she told me that he'd abandoned us, and that's why she had to put me up for adoption," Jessica protested, "She said that because it made his loss more bearable." Cassandra explained, "But what happened?" Jessica asked, "We really don't know, all we know, is that according to Mariah, she told us that your father, was already dead, we hadn't wanted to adopt you, if your father was still alive, thinking that he'd marry your mother." Cassandra replied, "I'm still going out." Jessica said as she started for the door. "Don't go to that strange man's house, and be back before eleven," Jacob called after her. Feeling like she was in a complete daze, Jessica, opened the front door, and walked out of the house, closing the door behind her.

Jessica 1.7
That night after her birth mom had left, Jessica logged on to the internet on her laptop, and with the help of internet search engines, she was able to find, her birth father's social media accounts. And through his accounts she was able to find both his email and his cell phone number. Thinking that it would be less intrusive to email him than to call him on his personal cell phone number, seeing that he didn't know her. Jessica introduced herself to her father in her email, she told him about herself about her life, and how she'd loved to meet him and his family sometime. She'd found out through his social network that he'd married sense he'd left her mother, and he and his new wife had a daughter together.

Jessica nodded her head before replying. "Yeah, why did you put me up for adoption?" Jessica asked ever sense her adoptive parents had told her that she'd been adopted she'd always wondered why she'd been put up for adoption. "I put you up for adoption because I'd only been sixteen when I had you, and my parents thought I was too young to raise a baby, so they made me put you up for adoption." Maria replied after she'd finished swallowing the bite of food she'd taken from her plate. "Whose my father?" Jessica asked, "Your father is a man named Henry." Maria replied, "Do you still speak with my father?" Jessica asked "No, I haven't had any contact with your father sense I told him that I was pregnant with you." Maria replied, "That's too bad because I was looking forward to meeting my father." Jessica replied crestfallen "I guess you could find him on the internet, his last name is Petersin." Maria replied

"So you;re my birth mom." Jessica said later that night, as she sat across from her birth mom, at the dinning room table. Mariah smiled and nodded her head. She had blonde hair and green eyes, and was dressed in a green dress, her blonde hair was pinned back in a bun. Jessica, wore, jeans, a white t-shirt and had her blonde hair pulled back in a pony tail. Her adoptive parents wanting to give her a chance to get to know her birth mother, had opted to eat their meal in the kitchen.
"Yes, I'm Mariah, your birth mother, I bet you're wondering why I put you up for adoption, right?"
Mariah asked as she peered intently at Jessica. She was exactly like she'd imagined she'd be. She looked exactly her paternal grandmother, back when she was her age.

Jessica 1.4
"So whose my birth mother?" Jessica asked, as she put her book down.
"She's a lady named Mariah, and your adoptive father and I have invited her over for dinner
tonight." Cassandra replied, "And when where you going to tell me that I was adopted?" Cassandra asked, "Your adopted father and I. had an agreement with your birth mother, that you'd be told about your adoption story, on your fifteenith birthday." Cassandra explained. "I see, and is my mom coming here to pick me up?" Jessica asked, "No, your birth mom, has already given up her rights as a mother when she signed there adoptive papers." Cassandra assured Jessica. "Good because I don't think I could think of anyone else as my mom. and what about my birth father, is he going to be coming to dinner as well?" Jessica asked, Cassandra shook her head. "No, there was no mention about your birh father, as far as I know, your mom had gone to a sperm bank and never had any actual interaction with your father." Cassandra replied. "So I'm a product of a sperm donor?" Jessica asked, her eyes growing wide with astonishment. "As far as I know, of course you can always ask your birth mother just to be sure, her name is Mariah, by the way." Cassandra replied.

Jessica 1.3
Jessica was lying on her bed reading a book, about mermaids, and mermen, when Cassandra knocked on her bedroom door.
"Jessica!!! excuse me, are you decent!!!" Cassandra asked from behind the closed door.
Placing the book face down, Jessica, signed, she hated it when people interuppted her alocated
reading time.
"What is it?!!" Jessica asked, hoping her tone made it clear that she was very anoyed at the fact
that her allocated reading time was being interupted.
"There's something I need to tell you, it's really important." Cassandra replied,
"Come in!! the doors open!!!" Jessica called from her bed.
"I see you've taken a break from your reading, and finally did some cleaning and organzing."
Cassandra commented as she peered around Jessica's room.
Jessica's room was usually left messy, books where usually strewn around the room, along
with clothes, make-up and perfume bottles, but now the room, was neat and organized, everything
had been put away in it's respective places.
"yeah, I got bored, and was taking a break from reading, so what's going on?" Jessica asked
a curious expression crossed her face.
Cassandra contenmplated telling Jessica about her birth mother, whether then wait for her
birth mother to tell her herself during dinner.
"There's something you need to know, you know how your friend Lexi was adopted by her
parents when she was a baby?" Cassandra asked,
Jessica nodded her head.
"Yeah, i remeber." Jessica replied.
"Well , you and your friend Lexie have a lot in common." Cassandra started.
"You mean that I've been adopted just like Lexie was adopted?" Jessica asked,
"You knew?" Cassandra asked,
"Well I know now." Jessica replied.
