Jessica 2.4

"Do you think you'll move in with your father and his family?" Amy asked it was a couple of hours later and the two girls were now, eating pizza in Amy's bedroom, as both Amy's parents were entertaining guest in the living room downstairs. Jessica thought for a moment before replying, "No, I like living with my adoptive parents, I can't imagine leaving them and living with my father, besides I think he'd rather I stay with my adoptive family." Jessica replied, "Why do you say that?" Amy asked, "I don't know, it's just how I feel." Jessica replied, "Does your biological dad have any other kids?" Amy asked, "Yeah, but I forgot how many kids, I think maybe two or three." Jessica replied, as she tried to remember how many kids he had. She remembered seeing pictures of children, but it was clear if it was multiple pictures of one kid, or multiple pictures of several kids. "You didn't meet any of them when you went to see your father?" Amy asked, "No, they were all out, so I only met my father." Jessica replied, "Do you want to meet them?" Amy asked, "Honestly no, I just cared about meeting my father." Jessica replied,

Jessica 2.3

After leaving Roger's home Jessica didn't feel like going back home, so she decided to go to her friends Amy's home instead.
"what was it like meeting your biological father after all these years?" Amy asked, it was the next morning and both Jessica and Amy were sitting in Amy's bedroom, which was furnished with a queen size bed with a desk and bookshelf full of books. "it was weird but he seemed to be really fatherly." Jessica replied "you didn't know you were adopted?" Amy asked "no." Jessica replied "what are you going to do now? are you going to move in with your dad?" Amy asked
"No, I'm going to continue living with my adoptive parents." Jessica replied "why don't you want to live with your dad?" Amy asked "Because I just felt out of place at my dads home he has a new family now." Jessica replied "so when did you find out that you were adopted?" Amy asked "Last month." Jessica replied "who'd you meet first your mom or dad?"Amy asked "I met my birth mom first." Jessica replied "what was that like." Amy asked "It was strange I never knew that I was adopted, my adoptive parents had an agreement with my birth mother that they wouldn't tell me about the fact that I was adopted till I turned sixteen." Jessica replied,

Jessica 2.2

"Where do you think Jessica is?"  Cassandra asked Jacob. It was later the next morning, and Jessica was nowhere to be found. "She's probably gone to see her father." Jacob replied, "But she she's been out all night, do you think she's decided to move out?" Cassandra asked a worried expression crossed her face. "I am sure if she were moving out, she'd let us know, it was probably just late and she decided to spend the night at her father's house, it's no big deal," Jacob replied "It is a big deal, she doesn't even know her birth father!!!" Cassandra pointed out, "Well now she'll get to know him," Jacob replied, "Aren't you the least bit worried that she's going to leave us?" Cassandra asked she couldn't believe how nonchalant Jacob was being, about the whole thing. "It is what it is if Cassandra chooses to move out and live with her birth father, there's nothing you or me can do about it, now this wouldn't been happening, had we opted for a closed adoption, but Nooo, you wanted, Jessica to know her biological parents." Jacob pointed out. "I thought. I was making the right decision at the time." Cassandra replied, "Well now, we're just going to have to watch and see, what Jessica decides to do," Jacob replied, as he went back to reading his book indicating that the conversation was over.

Jessica 2,1

"There's someone to see you in the living room." Maggie informed Roger as soon as Roger returned home from work, later that evening. "who is, is it Thomas?" Roger asked, Thomas was his business associate. "No, it's a girl, she says that she's your daughter." Maggie replied, a confused expression crossed Roger's face as he scratched the top of his head with his fingers, "Okay, I'll go and talk with her myself. thank you, can you please, put my brief case and coat away, please?" Roger asked, as he handed Maggie, their house keeper his briefcase and coat. "Of course sir, it is my job after all." Maggie replied,

"Hello, my name's Roger, and you are?" Roger asked, as he extended his hand out for Jessica to shake. "I'm Jessica, I was told that you are my biological father." Jessica replied, as she shook his hand. "Who told you that I am your biological father?" Roger asked as he sat down, on the red chair, that matched the red sofa, that Jessica was sitting on. "Mariah, my biological mother, told me that your my biological father, she also told me that she never told you about me." Jessica replied "That's right, she never told me about you, are you living with her now?" Roger asked, Jessica shook her head, "No, my biological mom put me up for adoption, I was adopted by a nice a man and his wife." Jessica replied, "I see, well I am sorry that I haven't been a part of your life, but as you know, I had no idea about you." Roger replied, a guilty expression crossed his face. "That's okay, now that you know about me, can I be a part of your life, can I meet your family?" Jessica asked, "Sure, I'd like that very much. and I'd also like to meet your adoptive parents." Roger replied "Sure that'd be a good idea, though to be honest, they're not to keen on me coming here and meeting you, but I am sure they'll change their minds once they meet you." Jessica replied, "I hope so." Roger replied, "Well I won't be keeping you any longer, I've got to get back home." Jessica replied as she got up and started for the front door. "It was nice meeting you, please come again soon." Roger replied.

Jessica 2.0

It was a couple of days later and Jessica found herself, standing on the front porch, of her father's home, she'd found his address on the internet. Taking a deep breath she rang the doorbell, and waited for her father to open the door. She hoped that her father would be the one to open the door, she knew that her father, had remarried sense he'd left her and her mom.
"Yes, how can I help you?" A tall thin lady, dressed in a unform asked when she opened the door. "My name is Jessica, I want to talk with my father his name is Richard Stevens." Jessica replied, "Richard is your father?" the lady asked a skeptical look crossed her face, "I can't say there isn't a resemblance, but are you sure your not pulling my leg?" The lady asked, "I'm his daughter, and I want to see him, is he home?" Jessica asked, "He's at the office at the moment, you can come in and wait for him, or you can come back later." The lady replied. "Is his family home?" Jessica asked, "No, they're all out, they won't be back till later, but you can feel free to wait for them, I am sure your father, would love to meet you." The lady replied, "That's funny, I don't think my dad even knows of my existence, at least not according to my mom." Jessica replied, "Well then it'll be a nice surprise for him." The lady replied, "I guess so, when should he be back?" Jessica asked "He's usually home before ten at night." The lady replied, "That's five hours away, are you sure I won't be getting in the way if I stay and wait for him to get back?" Jessica asked, "It's no problem at all, besides, it'll be nice to have some company, while I work." The lady replied, "Alright, I'll stay and wait."  Jessica replied as she walked into her father's Ranch styled home.

Jessica 1.9

"Jessica?" Mariah asked when she answered her phone. "Why'd you lie to me about my father, why'd you say that he was alive when he actually died when I was born?" Jessica asked, "You misunderstood me, the man I told you about, isn't your father, he was a father figure to you." Mariah replied, "How could he be a father figure to me, if I was adopted when I was born," Jessica asked, "Alright, I lied, he wasn't a father figure to you, he didn't even know you, I just told you that he was your father, because to be, honest I don't know anything about your father, he disappeared, he left us, I know his name, but that's all," Mariah replied, "Why didn't you just give me his name in the first place, why'd you give me a name of some other guy?" Jessica asked, "Look, Jessica I don't think it's a good idea that you go and talk to your biological father, you see, he's married now and he's got a life of his own now." Mariah replied, "I don't care, I want to see my biological father, does he even know about me, does he have an idea that I even exist?" Jessica asked, "That's another reason, why I don't think that you should go see him, he doesn't know about you, he had no idea that I was pregnant, when he left." Mariah replied, "Well, in that case, he and his family are going to be in for a surprise, when I show up at their front door, now what's his name, his full name?" Jessica asked, "No, I'm not going to tell you his name, he doesn't care about you, he's got a family of his own now, you should keep your focus on your adoptive family, they're the ones who've taken care of you for the past fifteen years." Mariah replied, "I want to see my father, I deserve to see my father." Jessica insisted, "Fine, your not going to let this go, are you?" Mariah asked, "No, I'm not going to let it go." Jessica replied, "His name is Roger Stevens." Mariah replied.

Jessica 1.8

Both Jacob and Cassandra were sitting in the living room, Jacob was sitting on the red sofa, watching the news, while Cassandra was sitting in her favorite overstuffed white and pink striped chair, reading a book, when Jessica, came downstairs, dressed, in a pair of jeans, a baby blue blouse, her
hair was pulled up into a ponytail, "Mom, Dad, there's something that I need to tell you, I've emailed my birth father, and my birth father, has emailed me back, and we decided that we should meet, he wants to introduce me to his family, he has a wife and daughter. Both, Cassandra and Jacob immediately stopped what they were doing and focused their attention towards Jessica. "Jessica, according to your mother, your father passed away, when you were born, whoever you think that person is, that you found on the internet, and whose claiming to be your father, is lying to you." Jacob warned, "No, I asked my mom, and she gave me this man's name." Jessica replied she refused to believe that her birth mother would come back into her life, only to tell her a lie about her birth father.  "Jessica, I'm sorry, but your father, is right, your birth father, didn't abandon you and your mother, your birth father died." Cassandra replied, "But she told me that he'd abandoned us, and that's why she had to put me up for adoption," Jessica protested, "She said that because it made his loss more bearable." Cassandra explained, "But what happened?" Jessica asked, "We really don't know, all we know, is that according to Mariah, she told us that your father, was already dead, we hadn't wanted to adopt you, if your father was still alive, thinking that he'd marry your mother." Cassandra replied, "I'm still going out." Jessica said as she started for the door. "Don't go to that strange man's house, and be back before eleven," Jacob called after her. Feeling like she was in a complete daze, Jessica, opened the front door, and walked out of the house, closing the door behind her.
